At CDC Studios, we empower individuals to express themselves boldly, think creatively, and grow with confidence. Through a supportive and nurturing environment, we encourage our students to explore their unique potential, discover their passions, and develop a strong sense of self.

Our mission is to inspire each person to chase their dreams fearlessly, face challenges head-on, and push beyond perceived limits. By breaking boundaries and embracing growth, our students become not only skilled and confident—but also resilient, motivated, and ready to make a meaningful impact in their lives and communities.

LISA O'DELL
HEAD OF JAZZ &
COMMERCIAL

Head of Jazz & Commercial

I trained at CDC for 5 years, in contemporary, lyrical, jazz, ballet and tap as well as assisted and taught classes.

My passion for dance was uplifted be the welcoming and supportive atmosphere. Throughout my time at CDC I found myself to excel across all styles not only by training within them but also having the opportunity to teach as well.

Having the opportunity to be a student teacher during my time at CDC was beneficial for so many reasons, helping with my confidence, finding my own way of moving & creating, it is also so rewarding to watching the other students progress. In addition I had the chance to choreograph many award winning solos, duets & trios for very high standard competitions for dancers of all ages. Alongside this I also acted as an assistant choreographer for CDC competitive teams for 2 years.

I have now graduated Addict Dance Academy with a 1st class degree. I am so excited and grateful to be running the jazz programme at CDC. Whilst I am following my dreams to become a professional dancer and performer I still have a massive amount of passion for teaching and choreographing and love having the chance to share this passion with CDC.

CDC, and more importantly Stef, has helped shape me into the person and dancer I am today. I am blessed for all the support and courage i have received. CDC is more than dance it’s family.

Our Student Teachers

These students excel in their dance training & have been working really hard to create their own unique choreography & enhance their teaching skills. At CDC we love being able to give our students the opportunities to teach.

My name is Tilly, I have been at CDC since 2017 and i have loved every second of it.

Collide is not only an incredible dance studio but is also a safe space full of support and laughter that allows every dancer to truly grow and thrive. The lifelong friendships and connections i’ve made through collide will always have a special place in my heart!

Collide also provides every student with excellent training and opportunities. I have participated in national competitions at CDC since 2018 which has provided me with resilience, confidence and the ability to work with others.

I have also been given the privilege of teaching my own choreography which has been the most inspiring experience! Watching every dancer develop and find their own way of moving has been such a beautiful thing to watch and i will be forever grateful that i got to experience it!

TILLY COPLIN - RHODES

Hi, I’m Liberty, I have been dancing since I was 4 & joined Collide in 2018. Since I have been dancing at Collide my confidence has grown and I have found my individuality. It has given me so many opportunities such as travelling around the country competing and performing, making life long friends and developing as a person and as a dancer.

I have really progressed through my time at Collide and I have also been given the opportunity to assist classes and even teach them. I enjoy teaching as I love watching the younger students grow into amazing dancers and watch them improve their individuality and their passion for dancing. Seeing my choreography come to life is very rewarding.

I really love being part of the Collide family and am really grateful for the support and love Stef has given me.

LIBERTY TURNER

Hi I’m gabi & I joined Collide in 2017 and I could not be anymore grateful for my dance family.

During my time at Collide I feel like I have improved not only as a dancer but as a person. I have felt my confidence improve so much and I feel so supported by everyone. Collide has given me so many opportunities across the country and I could not me anymore thankful.

Being a student teacher and assistant at Collide is so amazing. I love watching others perform my choreography and I always feel so inspired by how hard everyone pushes themselves in classes. Collide just feels like my second home and I feel so lucky to have that love and support around every time I go to dance.

GABI ALTUN

CDC Alumni

Hi my name is Olivia and I’m 21 years old, and I have recently graduated Addict dance academy with a First-class honours degree, I have spent the past 3 years in professional training. Before this I attended Truro college and received a D*D*D* in a level 3 extended diploma in Dance. My dance Journey all started at CDC, where I trained for 7 years in vast range of styles, being Contemporary, Lyrical, Tap, Jazz, Ballet and Acro.

I started off with weekly classes which then turned into being apart of one of the group companies. As my skill set developed I was then asked to assist with classes which then lead on to becoming a student teacher. This massively helped boost my confidence, I loved getting this opportunity as I was inspired by the newer and younger generation, pushing me to better myself.

The environment that teachers create at CDC helped me become the dancer and person I am today, not only did I improve on my technique and skill set, I was also taught industry knowledge and general etiquette. Constantly surrounded by a supportive atmosphere. I love coming back and teaching and sharing the knowledge I have gain from personal experiences, I enjoy seeing the growth of the dancers that still train at CDC.

CDC not only offers incredible training, but also a safe environment for learning and experiencing new things. I am proud to say I once trained at Collide and will forever be grateful that Stef and her company have done for me.

LOUISE BAIGENT

Hi, my name is Bella. I joined Collide 8 years ago and I am now an alumni for the company. When I joined Collide 8 years ago I started in beginner classes from which i grew into advanced classes getting me into Collide’s competitive teams. And I am now training at my dream university Addict Dance academy. Collide allowed me to achieve my dreams by developing my versatility in all styles: contemporary, jazz, ballet, lyrical, tap and many other styles.

Collide offered me so many opportunities such as going to Dance Excellence in Los Angeles, Disney Land Paris & The Netherlands as well as so many events nationally.

Being an assistant at Collide taught so many new skills and it taught me how to be a great leader & helped me develop my choreographic skills which has helped me in my further training. I wouldn’t be here without the constant support from Stef and all the other teachers at Collide. I could never recommend this dance company enough. Send your amazing kids here to achieve their dreams in the future!
